Icon Inn

An automated hotel which requests you to download an app to check-in. I had not paid attention to the text requesting me to download the app so I wasn't prepared, and surprised by a sci-fi type of room to scan and check-in before being able to enter the actual hotel. It didn't feel very welcoming because of the surprise, and not having a person to greet us. But the kiosk had an option to choose "Concierge" and then the owner(?) came directly and was super nice and welcoming and got us set up quickly. The hotel is very safe, rooms have extra space to stretch out and the beds were very comfortable. Immaculately clean. Very modern vibe with "cool" colors and high tech features in the room which took awhile to figure out. The freeway is next to it and the traffic woke me up early am, but it was OK during the night. We did not use the kitchen or dining area, but it looked like a commercial kitchen with everything to use. Lights were off in the kitchen, again, not super welcoming. Only two towels and one hand-towel were in the room to use for 5 people. I missed having a washcloth and would have liked additional towels. Overall it was safe and clean and roomy for a great price. It just could feel more welcoming with a few changes.

Nice quiet place. It's self service like a air bnb, even though there is management on site. The management is happy to help with any questions or specific needs.

I recently had a tire blow on a Sunday, and got stuck in Ellensburg. I had my disabled mom and a new kitten with me, and none of the nearby hotels would take a pet in. The owner (apologies, I forget her name) was so nice and was willing to help me however she could. Even if I stayed in a different hotel, she was willing to let me park my car in the Icon Inn lot with the cameras on it. I ended up staying here because she accepts pets, and I’m glad we did! This Inn is so nice and comforting. I was lucky to be able to chat in person with her, but I also like the self serving options for check in as well. The room was spacious and comfortable, and I was able to relax in a very stressful situation. If I’m ever staying overnight, this is where I’m gonna go!

Definitely a 5 hotel, Carmin is amazing!! I have never been treated so well at a hotel in my life!! Highly recommend, the rooms are SPECTACULAR!!

Oh this hotel is AWESOME! It is one of those new hotels were there are no staff. You pay online and gain access with an app. The room was very modern with a comfy bed, nice quality linens, fancy lighting, big screen TV, shower with three showerheads, and a "fireplace". And it was all at a great price.

The Icon Inn is one of the most pleasant hotel stays we've had in many years. It's super clean, very safe, incredibly quiet (really nice windows), beautifully designed, and the staff (thank you Carmen) was so helpful and courteous. The bed was sooooo comfortable. In the morning we brought our breakfast stuff downstairs and used the well-supplied kitchen to make breakfast, then enjoyed the little dining area where we ate. The technology used by the hotel is very cool. Some people may not like that but I found it very useful. This is what all hotels should be like.

This hotel is simply fabulous. I wasn’t quite sure when I booked it, what to expect, but I’m so glad I did. It exceeded all my expectations. The room was fantastic. Great decor, very modern but also warm and inviting. Super quiet. Felt like I had the whole place to myself. Love the self check in and personal touches. Restaurant quality kitchen available to the guests. No place I’ve stayed had that. The staff was super attentive and let me stay an hour past check in to finish a business call. I’ll try to stay here now every time I travel to Ellensburg. It’s hands down superior to all the other chain hotels.

I absolutely loved staying here. My room was perfect I was able to make my own food using there full loaded kitchen. It truly was a hotel that felt like an apartment. The manager was always on hand to make sure everything we needed was met. I WILL definitely be staying here again in the future.
